I doubt it. You're talking about texasXbpXconvict lol. Maybe convict flower horn cross? But even that in iffy about.

As far as the red texas looking fish... It does resemble the shape of a con vs a texas. That's a tough call without knowing but one thing I do know... It would take many years/generations to create that.
Ironically I have a male con(with a recessive marble gene), a female texas, and a female bp. Today I'm going to throw him with them and see which one he picks. But yeah... I would love to eventually make a "smaller" red texas. Also if he chooses the bp some short bodies will be a PLUS! Lol

I currently have one lol. My father had some that where a couple years old but not like the one I saw at this one shop. I understand they are slow growers same as convicts but I've seen a old male con near this firemouths size ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1389463077.250016.jpg

I found out what the second fish is that you posted, Furious Fish. It's a red Texas that won the a consolation prize at a Thailand Tropical Fish competition in 2007.
