I bought a 5 inch male chocolate chiclid and was more worried about the two 10" oscars in the tank than my convicts. I wake up to find my convicts punking him, not my oscars! So I moved my convicts into my female red devils tank temporarily, they are not liking their new living arrangements but those tough little ****s are actually holding their own against a 6 inch red devil!

How big is the tank?

2 x 10" Oscars and a 5" chocolate in a 60G tank?!

Correct me if I am wrong but this is not big enough.

You are not wrong. The tank is WAY too small. Good luck to the fish!

A 35 with convicts and red devil will be a problem too.

Bigger tanks, less fish.

They are getting along fine. He thinks hes an oscar... Id like to put the chocolate in the 35 gallon by himself, but trying to get rid of a mean ass red devil is hard. Noone wants them. lol. I bought her because she was cute and knew nothing about fish. Getting rid of convicts is even harder. Most pet shops are over loaded with convicts as it is....

Actually, Id like to keep my convicts around, they breed every two weeks...and their offspring make great feeders for the oscars and red devil..saves me money.

The simple fact that they breed every two weeks is why the pet shops are over run with them.

Give your fish away here on MFK and then start over and stock them properly. The only thing proper is the convicts fior the 2 tank sizes you have. Of course your cons are punking your fish theres hardly any room for any of them.

But you dont have room for all these fish. 1 oscar shouldnt be in a 55 gallon, but you went and bought a chocolate cichlid? None of your fish will last in the long run. They will die from health problems for being in inadequate tanks or they will kill eachother. Might as well make the adjustments now and stock your tanks properly to save you time, money, and hassle.
