I've got a trio of the same pikes (from Ken Davis' June shipment). Mine are also doing well, but are slightly smaller than yours at this point. Great pictures! Keep us updated as they grow out, and I'll do the same with mine.
 
Generally the whole trip with tickets and everyting involved is around $1500 to $1800...give or take a few hundered. Not cheap, but you can always save up for a while! I believe the go each year! Still waiting for that Brazil trip...:D :D :D RIO NEGRO AND RIO XINGU will never be the same! :D :D :D
 
Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone - I was playing around Friday to get some shots for APF and came up with a couple more of the Punctata. . .

Hi,
Between 1400u$ and 1700u$ for 12 days.... but the airfare is NOT inlcuding....the price depends of;
a) how many people
b) how many days
c) how many miles we drive around
But EVERYTHING is including...all food, lodge, all transport (around 2000-2300klm.) + driver + guide, all permits (collecting in private fields), export + sanitary cert. for USA, Europe or Asia + around 110-120 fishes....so I am not so sure if the trip is expensive?....everything depends of what you compare with?; because only the fact that you can bring back more than 100 fishes (LEGALLY!!!) worth more than 600-700u$....means a lot....and legally ;)...not many other countries can offer the same.
I could name a lot of other reasons....:).....but my english is not enough :irked:

really wish after seeing these pics that i had the extra money on me at the aca. most pics online don't look nearly as nice as these. great job.
