I've never had a problem with mela or pima, but I will just let them work their way out and keep on the salt and increased temp. I think they're just battle scars now, though.

it must be a female, then as it doesn't have as many spots. It looks the same as the pics you posted before. I haven't noticed any black spots. I'll try to get some pics of the caudal end to show the spots. I wish I knew where it came from. Do you have any new pix of yours?
