I feed crickets every once in awhile. I also feed whatever I can find outside. Worms from the garden is always good. I feed mealworms too.
Thanks againThat they do. When I eventually get back into reptiles that require live food, I'm trying roaches. I HATE keeping cricketsUrsvamp86;3350526; said:Cool thanks to everybody for the advice, I currently own several Emperor scorps and a Giant Vietnamese pede, and i already have crickets on hand so i was wishing that i could use them instead of buying other foods lol. Aren't waxworms pretty big and pretty much the same? Most grubs like these are pretty fatty, and do qualify as 'treat' foods. Earthworms are an amazing food that can be fed regularly to many fish, but not to certain types of catfish. Watch for pesticides when gathering earthworms.
My bichirs senegals , delhezi's endli's absolutely love cricketsUrsvamp86;3350046; said:Hello all, seeing as many or most fish eat invertebrates in the wild, has anybody been successful or prefer to feed their fish crickets or for that matter roaches? I am planning on getting some Senegal Bichirs and wonder if they would eat crickets of a decent size or shy away? i know they like to float near the surface when they are young for insects is why i ask. thanks!
