fishnutham - I started him in a 90 as a hatchling. Full adult requires a yard sized enclosure. My designed area was a 30' x 30' with a 500 gallon pool inside it.

h3llphyre - A 10'x10' pool is hardly enough for a croc. Maybe a small caiman, but that's about it. And I agree there are plenty out there that can keep them well. Can and should are two different things.
 
Here are some shots of the Orinocos I worked with. The first is "dad" - a 1,000 lb 12 foot male, the second is his offspring a few hours after hatching - a whopping 549 grams at the time.
