Hey you found some ! Good choice on fish. Im gonna have to back track through here to see whats happening with your tank situation.

Yep I got them and have posted a million and one photots! But sure you've seen that by now ;)

Really glad to have them... I'm going to do some tank maintenance tonight and this weekend so I'll probably post up more shots. I skipped the W/C this weekend as not to stress them further - so its 3 days late so I figured its alright now to go ahead.... they'll have to face it at some point! Lol.

NBK your carpintis are GORGEOUS, i was thinking about getting a pair of severums for my tank and have them with oscar and red terror but now i think im going to get an escondido pair instead!

Thank you... they are lovely :)

And they have loads of personality - even from the moment they got in the tank, there was no period of hiding or being timid.

The female made it hers, redecorated my sand and starting to show off her dominance.

They are wonderful...

I quite love mine as well. Great fish. Nice to see yours are behaving so well, NBK. :)

And finally, a decent shot of mine to show off its colors and markings. Does anyone have any idea what variation this is?

looks a lil strange. the head shape seems odd, maybe just the pic.

No, his head's definately that flat. I don't get it either. Possibly a low-grade FH?

Along with the head he looks very under fed. How well does he eat?

...The most out of any of my fish. I feed them 3 times a day. Usually two pinches of bloodworms in the morning, another pinch around noon, and then either 3 pinches or a cube of beefheart at night, with treats every now and then such as earthworms.
