Yeah because ima make a paludarium i was gonna put some red eyed tree frogs but is what species to put in the aquatic area if the tank

No red eyes. Won't work in the cold enviroment the newts would require.

You could do tropical for the eastern newts, that would give you more fish variety. I kept mine in a tropical tank, though my water wasn’t any warmer than 82 degrees.

This was a while ago, saw a newt at the petstore, bought it and a floating log and added him to my tank he was happy liked to explore out of his tank. He climbed out through the filter so many times we had to get a tighter lid, found him dusty under my couch once, 10ft away from the tank plus the stand height(2ft).

But im soon gonna get a baby snapping turtle
And some red eyeed crocodile skinks and
Also im use my thirty gallon for a monster fish grow out also im maybe getting a pet ferret so

I have four tanks, two albino Senegal bichirs, one Delhezi, one heros severum, one warmouth, one African leaf fish one Lima shovelnose one belly crawler pike one Flowerhorn one dwarf red eye puffer one syno cat and 25 assorted peacock cichlids
4 dogs and a whites tree frog
That’s enough to keep me busy lol

I guess it's another type of fun to have them in group and observe. I loved mine.

Well Im going keep the tank at about room temperature like around 75-85 and also there may be a light on the tank for the live plants i may put also what are some online reptile/amphibian stores that you guys recommend

Amphibians are cool. Would definitely keep some in a paludarium if they were legal.

All exotic amphibians are illegal in South Africa, we have a massive biodiversity of frogs and the authorities are taking no chances with Chytrid fungus.
