LOL still reading up on them pikes :D The tank will be warm year round so Uruguay pikes might not do too well. Thinking about "Atabapo I"....are those the bright red ones? And are they going to eat my other fish?
not a good Idea IMHO, the pike when it get's full size will run the tank, and constantly bash the tankmates:D

get on from the sax group. your rotkeil was actually made my sveni, which has a good 2" on her, back off. sax pike usually are smaller and less aggressive. belly crawlers are good, you could get a couple and they max around 4-5"

I'll look into it. How's my rottie doing :)

she is getting chased a bit being the smallest fish in the tank but like i said she fended off the pike lol. she was eating good on pellets and flakes. i think my rotti likes her

very nice!! I cant wait to see full tank shots when its fully stocked and with mature fish!

You missed my other full tank shot thread ;)

Yours are from a different source. JD has a few from the same parents that are about 1.5 years older - they look great!

Ill have to look up JD's then. I must have missed that thread. You keep getting all of this nice stuff, I can't keep up! Dat and Red Ceibal rebounded nicely and are doing well now.

EDIT: I tried to look up JD thinking it was the first 2 letters in a user name and apparently I was wrong. Whats the user name so I can do a search? Thanks a ton. Just curious what these little fellas will look like.

Hoooooly cow, sweet fish, and very nice combination. I myself love my gold severum, super red severum, and hoplarchus psittacus. Yesterday, he backed down a petenia splendida (red bay snook) twice his size. Yours being twice the size of mine is much more beautiful to this point. Best wishes.
