Yeah. Jumped out the tank yesterday. What upset me about the Sen jumping was that I only missed it by an hour or two.

Sorry for the loss. It sux. Have a friuend who's Palmas Palmas jumped and didn't make it. Just because he forgot to close the lid after WC. Sometimes, they're opportunist and instincts to search for another creek, or pool is high.

Sorry to be blunt here, but all of the other people posting about dead polys or ropes from jumping hasn't led you to get a lid - you had to learn first hand?

I am probably just grumpy this morning but I'm just tired of reading about fish dying from jumping when it's such an easy fix.

It's not that I have to learn first hand, it's my dad. If he doesn't think I need a lid, he won't make/buy one.

I kept mine in an open tank for a bit but I was never away long and it was just to confirm on eating. I'm building myself new canopies for my tanks once my dad has finished fixing his machinery

Egg crate or plastic mesh is really cheap, or if you want it to look nicer you can get a new lid and duct tape up the holes in the back where the filter etc comes out.

Please don't get another poly until you resolve that situation.
