Next time educate all your family members, both adults and children, how expensive and rare and precious your pets are, and they should treat your pets with the upmost respect and like holy grails, or face the wrath of someone who value fish more than human.

My family knows the stuff in my every tank are at least hundreds of dollars so they don't dare to pull any pranks on them. Sorry for the loss of your collection.

damn...last night when the fam was at my house all the little kids keeped hitting my tanks with cars and tring to take the top of my new diy stock tank...little basters...my kids know not to tuch my tanks...

Tomorrow I think I'll keep the kids out of the room. It's safer that way.

when i had family over my little cousin that is 1 years old was shaking my DIY 10 gallon fish tank stand and she broke a leg on the stand...i knew something would happen...

on Halloween night we had a party at my house and my cousin that is 6 years old she put a crack in my 75 gallon . i got so pissed! she was some kind of princess and she wacked my tank with her wand. my cousins dad (my uncle) was like we are so sorry. and i was like no problem . but really i was mad but i couldn't kick their @$$ lol i was going crazy

Yea, after trying a 2nd time with this Knife, I still fail. And I'll probably try again if I get the chance, lol. Still a bit pissed, but I had a friend call me over to pick up a few fish. He was trying to get rid of a few things, so now I'm not as mad, lol. Feel like an ass for making the two cry once I went to investigate on who did what. But they had it coming.

I give you kudos for not doing anything worse. If my two most prized fish were killed I would have gone ape ****, no matter how old they were.

As a parent, if my kids did anything like that, I would cover the cost of the fish. I would hope that every parent would have the decency to do the same.

Well, at least with some of my outer family it'd be like 'There only fish'. Money wouldn't save them then.

Glad I'm not the only one who has had bad luck with family members,lol.
Just a few hours away until the next 'party'. Hopefully things go much better this time.

My son had some friends over and he went upstairs to get something while his friends were looking at his newly stocked 37 gallon. When he came back down his friends were slamming their hands on the tank to scare the fish. he told them ,"You can do that if you want, but you have to repay everything you kill. This one's $40, this one's $20, this one's $80..."

His friends stopped. LOL!!!!
