I actually have the same method and attitude when it comes to stubborn fish. But, damn the yellow on this fish a great! I'd hate to see it die. So, I've decided to feed it frozen blood worms marinated in garlic xtreme for a week or so. Then, I'll try sinking pellets or MP marinated in the same garlic. I don't really want to feed my fishes any MP for various reasons. Thanks everyone.T1KARMANN;3863397;3863397 said:just don't feed anymore blood worm eat or die thats the rules in my tank i have never had any fish die no matter how expensive it is i stick to that rule
only a foolish fish will starve to dead when their is food in the tank
my NGT wouldnt eat pellets but thats all i fed now Ade owns it and it eats them fine
be strong
. Imo, dats will starve themselves to death. I've had it happen to myself and seen it with my friends. I know we shouldn't give up when converting, but is it really worth it?
You can mix shrimp or pellets with what the dats normally eat and hopefully they will eat it. You can also drop the food to where the water flows so it moves around the tank. If your dats stomachs look sunken in, I don't think you should continue starving while thinking they will eventually give up. You should give them what they normally eat after a certain amount of time and try again. This is just my 2 cents.888fish;3864499; said:I actually have the same method and attitude when it comes to stubborn fish. But, damn the yellow on this fish a great! I'd hate to see it die. He started on feeders, then i got him on dead feeders, then earthworms, then frozen bloodworms, then market shrimps covered in BW, then homemade, floating frozen stuff made of every kind of fish food (mainly shrimp and krill) gished together, then floating FD krill, then the sticks.
Basically just do it gradually, and have competition with him.
