Ok woke up today and looked at him the ick is 80% gone but he's getting a cloudy eye now should I just keep doing what I'm doing water changes and slat

u can do a water change and replace the salt. just small wcs. cloudy eye is cured by good water para and salt

never use meds it does not work as well as heat. and i always keep some salt in my tank it helps gill function and health of the fish. heat at 86 and salt you should be golden

The heat doesn't actually do anything to reduce the ich, it just speeds up the life cycle. The white spots fall and form into cysts, when they burst a few thousand mobile parasites break free and search a new host. The point of the heat is to get all the cysts to break open and expose the vulnerable organisms to the treatment of option.

Put him in a quarantine tank by himself. Raise temp to 84 and add salt

no point in moving him out if one fish has ick the whole tank needs to be treated

everyone says up the temp and add salt but lots of ick treatments on the market that are far more effective than upping temp and adding salt

tigers are not sensative to meds like other fish so go LFS and get something off the shelf

Got another problem he's staying at the top of the tank and his mouth is close to the top of the water he's not gasping for air or anything just in the current and swimming and he's not doing anything else he's dark in color and his fins are kinda white and one looks like its getting a tiny bit of fun rot I'm getting medicine tomorrow for him what do you think is going on ?? Tank is 83 degrees ph=7.6-7.8 nitrate=0 ammonia=0 nitrite=0

do a water change.. add a lil bit of salt.. it maybe overdose of salt. if ur changing ur medication treatment into chemical make aure u waterchange atleast 40 to get rid of aome salt
