He is still in my main 75. I took 5 gallons from that tank and set up the bath. I haven't set up quarantine yet. So he isn't getting a steady dose of kanaplex.

I may just do that. Setting up the 10 gallon fresh for quarantine scares me. If I dose my main tank and I kill my cycle, won't the ammonia spike do more damage to the fish than the cloudy eye? I thought "less than perfect water conditions" are what cause cloudy eye to start

I have not had kanaplex kill the cycle of a fully cycled tank, especially one that has been cycled for months. It has not even caused any mini-cycles.

I filled 10 gallons of water from my main tank into the 10 gallon. I put a little bit of gravel and the aqueon 75 filter from my Main tank on the 10 gallon. I cut the cartridges open and removed the carbon and dosed it with kanaplex. I'm gonna give it a day and see how he does in there.

I was about to dose my 75 gallon tank but for some reason I just couldn't do it. I'm still worried about a possible cycle mess up since it's only 1 month old.

I put him back in the 75, and I dosed the 75. I didn't want him in the 10. His colors are nice and he is swimming about, rushing to the front of the tank when I walk in and attacking pellets. His eyes look clearer But the white in the center isn't going away. And they are very puffy. It's only the first day of dosing so hopefully it goes away. I included pictures if it helps anyone.

the rest of the cloudiness should go away. Did you dose the 75g with epsom salt? If not dissolve 1/4 teaspoon per 10 gallons, and leave tank for the length of the kanaplex treatment. The epsom salt in the tank is purposely less dosage than in the bath.

I would still do the meth blue bath treatment since it will help in healing by brining more oxygen into the blood.

I did not does with epsom salt. But I will add that tonight. Today is day 3 of the "baths". And tomorrow will be the 2nd dose of kanaplex.

So no water changes until the 3rd and final dose of kanaplex is done?

And so assuming with all my filtration let's say I have 80 gallons of water. So just 1 tsp of epsom salt for the whole tank? That's very little. Will this affect biological filtration?
