ever since i finished my pond and stared cycling.... i have been see more and more dead bird floating in my pond... i finished my pond last week and i already taken around 6-7 birds out of my pond... idk if its the birds but ever since the first bird... i have a major ick problem.. i already lost around 12 goldies... i been treating with ick medicine, salt, melefix, and raise temp... and nothing...
how can i prevent future bird from dieing in my pond??

it looks nasty and its making me feel like crap...

wat can i do?!?!?

:(

put a net over it.

or my favorite get a fish that can swallow the birds whole

i havent tried the net... for me the net kills the whole idea of having a pond cuz i would have to have it on all day... but i will try it...

bird eating fish???:naughty::grinno:

how the heck are they falling in? :screwy: never had that issue with our pond

Or you can try a fake owl.

i dont think so...well i dont know.... i have rocks all around the edge .....

should i raise the water level... so if they do fall in they can swim to the edge and climb up

might help to raise the water level, and it sure wouldnt hurt. but yeah i dont see how the dead birds could cause ich.
