My wife thinks I go a bit overboard on the tanks, which she is probably right. I got rid of a ton of fish and quite a few tanks. I shutdown 4 55 gallon tanks, 1 75 gallon tank, 1, 20 gallon, and I just cancelled my order for a 120 gallon tank that I placed a couple of days ago. I kept 2 125 gallon tanks and a double stand of 55s.

Yeah probably. Its still kind of sad getting rid of my fish. I'm not sure why, but they are like dogs too me. There are 9 or 10 that I didn't want to get rid of.

Well she isn't totally against the fish hobby, she just isn't crazy about a ton of tanks. I will probably only have 3 tanks. My plans are to get an 8' 300 gallon tanks and combine the fish from both of my 125 gallon tanks. I will still probably keep atleast one of the 125s though.

You won't sell them. You want them. My attic is full of medium and small tanks I couldn't keep running. I was going to sell mine, too, but I can't look at one without imagining a betta sorority or pleco looking at me through the glass.
If you want your wife to take a sudden liking to all of your fish tanks, mention to her that the hot girl down at the fish store has been flirting with you ever since you told her how many tanks you have. And then casually mention that her day job is being a divorce lawyer.
