I just finished the saga of Eel,
I've never seen an eel that big except for a monster FE,
I just took a minute to quickly understand what it would be like to lose a friend like that,
and I am truly empathetic for your loss.
I've had some bad times this last year in general.
But that was a lot of money and time well spent, certainly not down the drain.
That was a tiny animal that you gave the best chance he could get, and you are 99% of the reason that fish had life.
That is something to be proud of whether it's a guppy or an arapaima.
I can tell how big he is by looking at the GT's face.
And it's massive.
Congratulations,
the pride and joy and finally ultimate lesson in eelkeeping.
Even without knowing the cause of death,
you have learned more than most people on the eel forums.
Great fish, good luck with the new'uns.
Certainly great inspiration for my new tiny spiney(Hey sounds jingly!)
Thanks a lot, that one picture was a thousand words.
This will be something that heavily impacted your life and won't be soon forgotten.
Taxodermist would have been amazing if they did a perfect job,
but you did the right thing in several ways.
Thanks,
and once again, I don't even think I can understand the depth of your relationship with him, sorry for your loss.
