Death of a giant

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just finished the saga of Eel,
I've never seen an eel that big except for a monster FE,
I just took a minute to quickly understand what it would be like to lose a friend like that,
and I am truly empathetic for your loss.
I've had some bad times this last year in general.

But that was a lot of money and time well spent, certainly not down the drain.
That was a tiny animal that you gave the best chance he could get, and you are 99% of the reason that fish had life.
That is something to be proud of whether it's a guppy or an arapaima.

I can tell how big he is by looking at the GT's face.
And it's massive.

Congratulations,
the pride and joy and finally ultimate lesson in eelkeeping.
Even without knowing the cause of death,
you have learned more than most people on the eel forums.
Great fish, good luck with the new'uns.

Certainly great inspiration for my new tiny spiney(Hey sounds jingly!)
Thanks a lot, that one picture was a thousand words.
This will be something that heavily impacted your life and won't be soon forgotten.

Taxodermist would have been amazing if they did a perfect job,
but you did the right thing in several ways.
Thanks,
and once again, I don't even think I can understand the depth of your relationship with him, sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. I am new to eels myself and am in love with my 10" fire eel after 5 months. I can't imagine the loss your going through.

"Lyricalist Skirmishacembalus":screwy:

Sorry I had to.
Hey, when you get your new eels, I'll be watching their growth for sure.
You're very welcome, I literally look up to you as far as eels go.

How is the terror?

Yea whenever I decide to go to a fishmarket I'm going to be cramming seafood down my peacock's throat faster than a 3' oscar. (Use your imagination, fools!)
Was there a specific schedule/fish you fed more than others?

You should find yourself a nice rare eel that you can take part in introducing to the common world, eh?

I don't know what a pistol is I don't think.
Oh,

I will make out my feeding schedule for my next Eel...Just a RAW seafood diet that consisted of 8 different foods.
I fed twice daily for 3 years and the last 2 seen once a day feedings.....

Pistol=Gun/Firearm
