so im thinking for a bottom clean up crew either a sting ray or maybe a rtc.... tank is 73x19x24 right now hoping by next year to have a 300g tank, i have 2 fx5's on my tank right now.... i know nothing about rays, and im curious are they ok to keep with other fish ? like peacock bass, silver arowana, and oscars, black ghost knife.... do they have the stingers all the time ? and will it sting other fish if so will they die, and do you just feed them reg sinking pellets ? anything they need specially ? like water conditons and etc ? which kind would you suggest ? i like the look of the black one with white dots....any help would be great

I don't want to be the person that responds to this negatively. If this is real then I quit this site. I don't even think the stickies deal with red tail cats and stingrays as 'clean up crew' !
Sorry if this is not a troll.

no it a real person with a real question lol, and i dont know hence why i asked .... so either or are a bad idea then eh ?

lol ghost shrimp ? are you kidding ..... ya must have missed what the rays and rtc would be in with.... the ghost shrimp wouldnt last 1 min in my tank..... ive just heard guys have used RTC's for "clean up" anything thats left over the RTC would eat and etc... thought they would work good (yes i know how big they get)

Rays are fairly messy eaters. Peacock bass, silver arowana, and black ghost knife would be fine. Not a fan of oscars. Good bottom cleaner in my tank is a Bichir. RTC and rays dont mix. Both will out grow a 180g which I believe is 72x24x19 (could be wrong on that).

Well I have 2 oscars right now and one pbass and have plans on getting one arowana, but figured I'd like someone to eatup crap from the bottom.... And yes a 180g is 72x24x24

Saw a birchir on youtube and wow they look cool well at least the 21" black one I saw on there did almost like a water dinosaur do they grow fast and eat reg sinking pellets ?
