Well, the last female tetra went missing. I am not buying anymore. The males seem to be fine. I finally broke out one of my mom's heavy-duty cameras. They kept moving, so I couldn't get great shots of them.

I took out all decorations to get bba under control. Sparky is hanging by the filter intake tube.

Yep. I bet he thinks he’s hidden: “nobody will recognize me now, I am completely camouflaged!”

The algae seems to be getting worse. Sparky also looks like he is hunting. He wesged himself between the intake and glass, and will not move, staying completely still. I keep Getting him out of there, but he goes back.





edit: the last 2 died of a water change.

8 hrs. No live plants. Im getting more duckweed because it all died off (how is that possible)

Well that’s a huge problem. With 8 hours of light, and nutrients, you’re bound to have an algae problem.

duckweed thrives in still water.

I wouldn’t have the lights on no more than 2 hours
