My Congo’s are very confused how to eat. The big male was the head hancho of the group. When he ate, all the others ate. When he died, the Tetras have no clue what to do! I put flakes on top, and they sit around like “Give us food!”. The Corys have been at it. Eggs were scattered, but I saw the male eating them. My male to female ratio for Congo tetras is 3 males and 1 female. I feel spending money now would discourage my dad to let me set up the other 56, so I’ll buy some later.
Sparky is eating like a hog. He isn’t getting bullied, because the large tetra is dead. Sparky is so happy. I added a weird rock looking thing, and he loves it! The Anubis in the tank is loving the Cory Catfish love. They keep laying eggs on there. On the other hand, the diatoms are getting out of hand. Every water change, I need to scrape them off.
I changed the water change schedule, btw. It is now 3 water changes every 2 weeks. Also, I added Aquarium Salt after my last post.
Anyway, I will stop my rambling. Here are some pics, first one is of the eggs. Corys are to scared of the camera to be up against the glass. Sparky’s head is covered by a plastic plant! The female is in front.
