Get them some fast dithers fish & all should be ok even add 2 or 3 male convicts to spice up their lives. I bred 5 -& 4 dempseys in a 55 with 1 extra feamle & 2 convictsIt was an accident but I raised 5 babies from a clucth that mostly died. I didn't even know they bred until I saw little heads sticking out of the under ravel filter(this was in the late 80's
 
no no no, im not being a punk, but it seems the comon thing to do on this board is to tell everyone, nomatter what the situation is, that there tank is too small,,, sure it is true in some casses, but not in most, so here we are , in one of them situations that its not true, but here comes a MFK troll to drop the only knowledge he can, witch is that my tank is to small,,, he might as well have croped it from another post on this board,,

and to me,,, its just fun to drive the (tank to small bus) into a tree,

so i gloat at the chance to discredit it when i can,
and if we were face to face,, i dont think you would be calling me a punk,, so lets not throw names around like that

How pathetic, calling someone else "retarded" after insulting him and treating his advice as gibberish. Fact is, JDs can reach 10" or more on occasion, that's why I felt a 55g tank was too small. There's no point posting a thread since you refute people's advice.

hey, your JD's may actually just be testing each others strenght to see if they are suitable mates.......I agree with trying some dithers in there......maybe some fast schooling tetras or giant diano's.......could force the pair to bond more and gaurd a nesting site together so they can channel there aggression on the other fish as opposed to one another.....worth a shot.....try it with cheap fish though, they may not last to long.
