first off,, headrush, you're a idiot,

how many stupid little faces can you fit into one sig, are you a little kid, i won the tough guy award?
you're the one comin into my thread running your mouth caling people punks from the safty of your key board!
i think it is you who wins this so called award, now take it and run along,

that being said,, the JD's are happy now, and it turns out the tank is of fine size,,
all levels are good and fish are happy it's ok tho i got a 75 at work cycling for them right now,

Says the guy that won't take "the tank's to small" as an answer even though it's really true, you can keep a pair of JD's in a 55 but a 75 is a much more logical and practical option for the fish and their welfare.

Why throw insults around when you took their advice anyway? You didn't get dithers or a divider like the other people in the thread suggested that you didn't abuse.

Stop personally insulting other people for giving practical and intelligent advice just because you don't like the truth.

and you are the biggest moron of the thread, if you read the enitre post, instead of breeze thru it and post your nonsence, i did get dithers, wow

go back to page 2 and start all over, im gona pretend you didnt even post,

enjoy

Lame. There's a big difference. There is more surface area for the cichlids' territories.

no no no, im not being a punk, but it seems the comon thing to do on this board is to tell everyone, nomatter what the situation is, that there tank is too small,,, sure it is true in some casses, but not in most, so here we are , in one of them situations that its not true, but here comes a MFK troll to drop the only knowledge he can, witch is that my tank is to small,,, he might as well have croped it from another post on this board,,

and to me,,, its just fun to drive the (tank to small bus) into a tree,

so i gloat at the chance to discredit it when i can,
and if we were face to face,, i dont think you would be calling me a punk,, so lets not throw names around like that

kev

you should stop acting like a child. He gave you good advice he should have expanded it a bit more than just saying too small.

the reason why you may see people saying tanks are to small on here is because a lot of times they are. People keep Barramundis and pima's on here. Unless you have a swimming pool for them you really don't have a tank for their full size. However I personally don't think that it is said more on here than other fish sites. That is one of the reasons why I like this site. I certainly don't like it for people acting like babies and calling people idiots and morons.

The square inches for the footprint of the tank for a 75 is 864 for a 55 = 576 so a 75 gallons footprint is 33% larger than a 55. It's not all about volume when dealing with aggressive fish. and for reference the footprint on a 65 648 square inches so not that large of a difference since most of the volume is in the depth :)

6 extra inches of footprint sounds pretty minimal but a can make a huge difference in tank aggression.

Ammerman, LMAO that's hilarious.

WOW, this has gona way too far,,, the 75 in comparison looks to be larger in every was aside from maybe length, maybe,,, AMMERMAN, your retarded with your cut and paste humor, you lack originality, should i crop and past some stupid looking kid talking about how he works the internets now? all these little faces and copy and paste insults are very childish,

nobuhiko takada owns you!

can we close this thread? everytime i open it i throw up in my mouth (just alittle)

Yes you may if you like cause I works the internets like a pro :naughty:. The 75 is 18" front to back that is where you get your extra footprint from. I'm just trying to say that maybe you shouldn't be so hostile to an opinion you don't like. If you would calm down and think about it actually is a very good point. Sure I agree a 55 should be big enough to breed JD's but a 75 would be the ideal tank size and would help lessen aggression that sounded to be getting pretty bad in your tank.

so you can continue to own me if you want but I'm pretty sure every that is not delusional will agree that you got p3wnd
