Wow that fish room in the museum should be on display since most of that stuff is so old.

u know what would really make heads turn in that museum? a nice big flowerhorn with a huge kok

i know its not ancient and that its a hybrid but it would look really cool in a tank of its own

well I have to express my opinion on this

I try my best to appreciate all fish for what they are

BUT

that bump thing that is so prized by flowerhorn keepers makes me want to pop it since it looks like a boil that is need of lancing.

I have to ask the ? is that a natural occurance in fish or is it something that fish breeders have played doctor frankenstein to get it be?

To me flowerhorns may have killer color and a killer(literally) personality I think that bump thing makes them look abhorent.

but why is it with all the times I have asked the ? of whether or not that bump is a natural or man bred thing people never answer the ?

I can appreciate the beauty in the flowerhorn but that bump just looks totally unnatural to me.
