Just don't join the square root club...that is, if you take the square root of your GPA, it comes out higher.

At my school if you don't get an A on homework avrage is all your classes exapt 2 classes you have to sit in a room for 90 minites and do work(class is 1000000 times better beacase in the work room you were silent and do indipendant work and can't talk) but if you achive it you get to watch a movie during class... I am really angry at my school beacause you get detention for not being an A student... I know they do it so kids are motavated but i think my school went WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY to far... so if you are not an A student you get 90 mins of detention, I just can't understand it... every quarter of school there is a new thing but detantion for not doing it,!!!!
I'd give you detention for this grammar/punctuation/spelling as well.
That's brilliant. Have applicants compose an essay on why they would be a good hiring choice for the company.
Hahaha! Nowadays, kids seem to think they are smart even on internet without ever considering proper punctuation marks, grammar and spelling. I'm tempted to stop breathing every time I see even text speak. I used to do text speak until I realized it ruined my ability to spell properly.

I think someone should create an addon for firefox and chrome that automatically turns text speak into real words, an autocorrect feature would also be helpful.
My company hires engineers who can be trusted to work alone, in a timely manner, and without distractions like over usage of cell phones. Any applicant using text speak on an application may as well have facial tattoos and multiple face piercings. They will never be hired due to their inability of representing the company while presenting a professional appearance and a certain level of education.
