Very nice, Neo!
Yeah, I remember you mentioning getting these awhile back. How many you get total? and how big your largest one?
If wanna trade one for an irwini, lmk?!!

They are awesome fish, the only drawback is that they require cooler temps. I lost 3 smaller ones before figuring this out. I now keep mine at 70*, haven't had a problem and it eats like a champ. Its put on solid 5" and lots of mass.

A 17inch Yarelli is not a very common sight to see in a home aquarium... that cat is a beast!! Is it in your 900g w/ ATF, or other tank? If any, what tankmate(s) do you have housed with it? What's their growth rate like? and what is their current diet like?
I have always been fascinated by these cats and have been wanting to get one now for quite sometime... Couple things I'd like to know about??... and since you have this 17" MONSTER, I would love to hear from your own personal experiences with them.

Just how BAD, is their actual temperment like? Are they extremely mean like Mystus sp.? or more like RTC? Will they quarrel for territory with other fish?
How is they're EATING/FEEDING behavior like? Do you think or feel, personally... that other smaller (or of equal size?) fish/ tankmates are in danger of keeping with it? (Being eaten? attempted to be eaten? fights?, knocturnal behavioir?, etc.).
You mentioned keeping them in cooler water temperature being better for them?... if kept in lower 70's, do you think that high oxygen levels is still an important factor to consider, as compared to keeping in higher temp. waters? (Or do they require fast current flow like payaras?)
I am very seriously considering on getting one now... To keep with a pair of other fish that have, with very simialr tank requirements (temperature, water conditions, biotope, etc.). tankspace should be plenty, so I'm not worried about that? Sorry for the '51 questions'... but any feedback from u would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for ur time, bro!![]()
