somebody asked how i was running the filter sock on my sump, so here's a quick pic. i had to use something heavy duty to hold it up since this thing weighs like 15lbs when it gets full of water  changed this yesterday, thats how it looks today. good thing i ordered 10 of them :naughty:

yeah it's 100 microns. how can you not find them lol. we gave you the direct link! :nilly:

How does this one look?

http://www.filtersfast.com/Pentek-BPH-410-50-Bag-Filter.asp

The Pentek BPHE-410-50 10" Bag Filter is a high efficiency filter made of polypropylene microfibers that are compatible with many corrosive fluids, including acids, alkalis, oils, organic solvents and microorganisms. These fibers are processed into a filter media that is then covered with spun-bonded polypropylene.
The semi-rigid cylindrical design allows this filter to be crushed and incinerated for easier disposal. Also known as Pentek, Ametek and US Filter 255006-03 and BPH410.

  • [*] Micron Rating: 50
    [*] Dimensions: 4" x 8 5⁄8"
[*] Filter Media: Polypropylene microfibers w/ spun-bonded polypropylene covers
    [*] Max. Temp.: 200 F

Are they reusable?

That is basically the same thing that everyone else sells.

Hey J, just for reference. I am running an 100 micron inside of a 50 micron and only had to change it out after a month or so. Your fish are too dirty. LOL

You know, I get picturesque results by tying a 100 micron paint strainer bag (purchased at the paint store) to the output of a powerhead and running it in the tank for a few hours. Just a tip for those without sumps who want to lightly polish their water on the cheap.
