Your life at the minute seems to be a quick water change here and there, and then off you go for days on end fishing, lol.
To keep a tank in tip top shape it needs more than just a quick water change. It's called maintenance young man, and your disturbed heap of crud which has fouled your tank up is a sure sign you're slacking!!
Get with the programme, shape up or ship out. The maintenance police are watching, lol.
This is why I hate gravel,you need to vacuum it often or you get mulm build up underneath.Just did me second weekly water change and I went to move the plastic plant in the corner to clean under it and now there’s millions of tiny particles in the water. I completely took the plant out and finished the water change but now it looks like my Tank has been overstocked for a month with no water changes. View attachment 1466416

Yea but then with the gravel I find that it helps pull the heavier stuff up, when it’s bare bottom tank with my anyways I find that there’s some debris that are heavier than others and the suction isn’t strong enough to lift it but with the gravel the rocks are always bouncing and lifts up the stubborn wasteThis is why I hate gravel,you need to vacuum it often or you get mulm build up underneath.
And lastly, ease up on the candy kid. What I see in the picture is more than you should be consuming in a month.
