Dirty tank

Should I do a gravel siphon today? It would maybe be a 10-15% wc if I only do gravel. Also I think my fish just threw up… I fed him like 45 minutes ago and just now he came to the corner of the tank by me and spit out a pellet.

Don't sweat it. It's not an emergency, just clean a little bit deeper for your next WC,

When I had gravel I would deep clean half the tank per water change. Doing water changes every three days made it to where there was hardly anything in the gravel to vac out.

And yes you have move your decorations around and clean under them or it will just continue to accumulate there.

Glad to see you’re sticking around to help and give advice while going through you’re housing issues at the moment. I would donate but not able to but I’ve spread the word to tons of people. Best of luck and thank you for the advice.

Not taking about algae. I keep algae in my tank for the flowerhorn to munch on and to help the water. The issue is the gunk underneath all the gravel.
