Disaster struck

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I am out of the loop on many things in your life and hobby, so can't say much specific. But generally speaking, this comes with the territory. I've committed similar blunders many times except not on a carpeted area. Dealing with about 50,000 gal of fish tank water, I have many critical things that must be started and stopped in time. Each has its own ponytail band. Start - the band goes on the wrist. Stop - off.

Will root for yah no matter what.

You can set the tank on cinder blocks (as real men do) in a large water catchment basin. Install a window in that basin and voila! You have a pond with a window and pilings too you didn't have before. When you conveniently overfill the pond, you set it in another water catchment basin. And so on.

Eventually, you can finish the series at a point you desire with a swimming pool and you'll have your own Jaws water park for the living room. Who else could compare to you then? You'll be a hero to your kids. As for the wife, I liked Galantspeedz train of thought...

These should jump start your thinking marbles:

Or you can go redneck style. It is appeasing to some.

If that doesn't scratch you where you itch, consider Russian style:

And finally, for the wife..., except filled with 4' redtails and 8' arapaima:

Sorry to hear this!! I know the feeling. Great thing is the hobby and community will be here when you decide to return. Hang in there!

Wow i will take either pic 1 or 2 !!

No i couldnt imagine the work and effort you put into the hobby viktor. You and vincent are a cut above the rest

So the fish are staying, not all but we are staying in the hobby.

The kids werent having it. Wife was mad that i flooded the room, kids were mad at the wife when she said she didnt want them anymore, then wife was mad at me because the kids were mad at her....i lose no matter what lol

Already rehomed the porthole shovel nose, spotted raph, sen, and planning to rehome more once i get things settled.

Sorry to hear. I hope that you keep that 300 with all the beauties inside.

Never leave the tank when you are filling it!!!
I have to live by that rule othervise it will go wrong with the lousy memory that i have.
My tank is right next to my PC, but I've made a rule no playing games while refilling the tank...:P

Well, it's not a fair juxtaposition. I am an aspiring professional as opposed to just a hobbyist. Vincent is... Vincent has a fetish to feed, let's put it that way :)
