First link on google, ie. you telling me something i should do that you don't;)

I see said that blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw. Well your tank is alot easier than mine is to move and what not. Mine weighs like 300lbs empty, thats means without the 300lbs of gravel that in it. It took 4 people to sit it straight upon its 4ft high custom wooden stand. If I had it all to do again I would have bought a can of semi-gloss black spray paint and painted it at the place I picked it up from a 2 days or so earlier, but I wasn't given that luxury. But your right I shouldn't complain since it's not my tank and I don't have too look at it except when you place photos on the thread. And then I don't really have to look at it much either I can weight until the thread moves on. Or I can just tell you that its........
........... $#%@^&*# and forget it, right?

PS..... Dude I tell you alot of stuff that I don't do anymore, so what - you want that I only tell you stuff that I do and that's it. Because I haven't told you about keeping 55 .5~3.0 inch fish in a 30G-L (36Lx12Wx18H) tank with only a Whisper Power Filters Model #20 or 30 on it, doing 40% w/c weekly.

Black background, brother :) The blue is nice too but the black would be perfect ;)

The pot/kettle thing was a joke hence the ;)
and ^^^ More communication problems I guess.

PS, I wouldn't want to move any tank let alone yours, when we got the tank that George is in, I over enthusiastically filled it up. Didn't have a spirit level to hand but thought, no problem level concrete floor right? Not if you leave one foot just on a carpet grab, that was fun to move:WHOA:

This was always going to be a work in progress so I've ordered some more plants.

Things that are working out well, like the polysperma, micranthoides have been ordered in. I want the polysperma to fill out the whole front so I've ordered 25 of them to speed up the carpeting effect, that it's slowly creating on it's own.

Out will go the spirallis, the tendellus and the bulbs.

I will post an update once they have arrived and are planted:)

Background! :D Please!

You never know I might surprise you one day, just not soon;)

If you want a background on the baby I could pick that one up with one finger:ROFL:

I was looking at a background for that tank until I saw the price:WHOA: They want £70 for a bit of painted, molded plastic, they can take they're over priced plastic and :swear::swear::swear::swear::swear:

Dude you just like doing things the hard way. This is a small tank that should have taken half the effort that you applied to it, to set it up. Why didn't you just spray paint the back lite blue and jet black, would have taken like 10 minutes. Why didn't you just add 75% water from another exisiting tank and then you could have added real fish right away. And yes the filter would have been started from the fish waste in the 75% of water from the exisiting tank - you were that worried about the filter you should have poured the fish waste water directly through the filter so that the filter aould held the bulk of the dirt. But you wanna do things as if you have never done them before, and you have no other tanks. What gets me is that you have exisiting tanks with fish waste in the tanks and filters, but yet you wanna use one of those Aquarium start up biological filter starter crap kits. WHY?
I just don't get it, you like reinventing wheel over and over again:screwy: c'mon your not even making improvements your just reinventing over and over.

Brother, I sure you can find much cheaper than that... how about having a look on the web? It should come back at around a maximum of £ 2.00 per foot...
