All the soccer fans in Mauritius support either Manchester United or Liverpool :) And, when I say fans, these are diehard ones! We even had riots during live matches on occasions!

Lately, all the Man U fans were wishing Liverpool would beat Chelsea so that Man U could beat the crap out of them during the final! :D It would have been a great duel... er... match! :D But (though not unexpected after their silly own goal :screwy:), Liverpool got beaten and Man U faced Chelsea during the final.

Anyway, Man U won and tomorrow I'll have to see the sour face of my boss who, after having cried when the Reds lost, would be pissed that the team he hates had won! :screwy::grinno:

I know people here (my dad, for example) who would have killed to be working just one minute from The Theatre of Dreams...

I stand corrected then, If I had the cash, contrary to popular belief of course;) I'd rather go over to yours for the champions league final, tropical island + beer =:headbang2

It was about working out which plants would work and thrive given the conditions I had, I went for plants that would be happy in the water params and just see what took off. I noticed that the polysperma was very happy and just kept going so I ordered 25 more to complete the carpet effect I wanted, plants have still not arrived but I'm going to be inundated with the stuff before they arrive, at least the plan is working, still you can't beat a fiver for 25 plants:headbang2:

Man U will face Chelsea :) Guess I'm already dreaming about that victory :D

Pictures are getting better and the tank as well :)

Now maybe it's a great time to think about the layout of the tank... where you want such and such type of plant... the size of the bunch of plants... open spaces... or else it'll just become a jungle... ;)

A valid point, something I'm going to look at when the plants eventually turn up
:irked:for the lack of plants
;)for the comment

cool tank. should be even cooler when the plants get taller and fill in the space.
it looks much better than a bare-bottomed and empty tank would :)

Thanks for the comment, when the other plants arrive it should look better. I just ordered a few different types that should work with the conditions originally and ordered more of what took off well and what didn't.

To top it all off, after reading a somewhat strange email mainly about going fishing when I'm working  the chemi pure seems to be on the way.

Knowing my luck they will have actually brought back a liquefied Saturn ring instead

Plants have arrived:headbang2

It's nearly midnight and I have no energy to plant them until the morning so a picture update will have to wait until tomorrow night.:(

Bit disappointed with the shipment, last time I got very small polysperma, hense why I ordered so much but I got quite big plants, the Micranthemoides I was expecting to arrive quite large so I could use them to fill the background and they are tiny, by tiny I mean tiny but I still can't argue at the price. I'll plant them up tomorrow and post an picture if it looks ok but my intentions are to rip everything out at the weekend and plant it up properly.

Just to top it off I've got another sick fish:irked:

Having a break from the sp3 fun, look what just turned up:
