The fish are here in Houston! According to the tracking, my office is supposed to let me know when they arrive as I'll be in the field. Super excited!
What everyone has been waiting for! This is my 1st time buying discus or ordering fish online. Robert has made it a great experience and should I want to expand the pack he will definitely be getting my business. All 10 fish arrived healthy and are exploring their new home! I will update with more comments on how they act over the next couple of days.
Yes. I also got his beef heart flakes, which came last week. My angelfish has enjoyed them and shall see if the discus eat tomorrow.
They all appear to have nicely shaped bodies, nothing odd about them. They range from 2-3" and all seem well. The smallest of the 10 was still swimming a bit sideways this morning. Tonight I will update on how they eat, but they are definitely moving around the tank as a group and seem well off.
I have never had discus before, but these all appear to be healthy fish other than the 1 who is still recovering from the shipping feel. But he even seems healthy, just stressed out a bit still.
Fed them some of the beef heart flakes this evening. Some of them ate at it, mainly the larger ones. Decided to thaw a cube of bloodworms and all went after them cleaning them off the bottom of the tank. All are moving around as a pack, and pecking order is being established.
