Dissapointed with a fish?

Tigrinus cats.. They look really nice. But they are just like any other catfish.. Sit there in a cave, only come out at night...

Not worth the money for how easily they die, no way.

Great for bragging rights.. H'rm.. just like P's.

o Yeah.. Oscar was disappointing too.. After I realized there was nothing more to them than begging for food, and eating it.

Begging for food and eating it? sounds like me again.

Florida Gar: Heard much rave about gars from owners and pictured looked cool. However, all it did was rubbing nose againt the tank wall, never ate anything.

Irridescent shark: I bought a big one. It looked really cool at the lfs and thought it would be a good tank mate for my aros--but a huge dissapointment. In the last two months, it hasn't eaten anything (I don't know how it survives), always rams into the tank walls during water change, and swims up and down against the wall in a crazy mode ALL DAY. My wife calls it a "mental fish." I am wondering how I should get rid of it. Any good ideas? (Due to its sizse, transporting it back to the lfs would be a pain in the neck).

Super red asian arowana, why are they dissapointing , b/c feeding time is nothing special and I could have got the same fish with different colors for a lot, lot cheaper. I don't know what the hype is , they are an overpriced fish that in reality is not very rare b/c they are bred and do not deserve to be sold at that price ,jmo.

frontosa -i got 4 bright and colorful ones and when they are in my tank they are dark and hide all the time
flower horn- killed one of my frontosa, killed 2 rainbows, killled knife fish....they are just super mean got them at 1 inch and one is at 2 inches and the other just hides and is still at 1 inch
irridesent shark- i jumped in front of my tank and he got so scared he rammed into the acrylic and started floating upsidedown... it was a retarded fish....but the other one i got is huge but he spazes alot...
false tigrinus- didnt eat pellets and died of starvation cause hurricanes i couldnt get guppies
tin foil barbs- at least one of 3 fish die so i replace then one dies and i replace and it another dies all of them die at about the 5 inch mark except one hes at lilke the 7 inch mark
european sturgeon- found out that it was a cold water fish and the main cause of death is temp is too high they are suppose to be in like 66 degree water or somthing like that and a heated tank is their main threat
archer fish- brakish fish and dont do well in fresh water.... dont eat pellets.... didnt squirt water like i saw in the pictures
midas ciclids- picked on everyone it doesnt want to mind its own business
pink gourmis- they are pink i realized that they were girly after the fact
asian red tail cat- stupid it went into my overflow box and died in the wet dry so i had to clean out the aquarium after i found out where it was

This is why I love flowerhorns, they love to kill and eat other fish.

RBP-- were cool until they hit the 4-5 inch mark and they started running into the glass so hard they would stun themselves any time i came near the tank. Black Piranha-- I am sure owning a 10" + one would be cool but at 5 inches they definately are not. It was the most pointless fish I have ever had. During an emergency when a roomate was kicking me out at 2am with no notice I had to put the pirana and my wolfish together. The wolfish gave him a bite that turned out to be fatal.

Other than those two I have been very happy with the other probably 50+ types of fish I have owned or do own...
