Very nice build!!!! I also would do an 8x4 with half inch. When it's euro braced it's so damn strong

That's awesome. Cool to hear that you did that with 1/2".

I'm toying with the idea of an 8' x 2' x 2' tank but was hesitant to do it with 3/4" cell cast for a few reasons... hearing it could be done with 1/2" is promising!

Not sure if there is a 5/8 thickness as that would be a good medium for a 8x4.
Spot so you spaced all joints 1/8th? Is that better then just joints butt up together?
