i seen a DIY thread somewhere where a guy took airline and sealed the end and then just used a pin to put holes in the tubing. Maybe this will work for your application.

anyone make an airstone?
or anything like one?
im sick of the crappy blue ones that break when you look at them or clog fast
i know they have ceramic or something but they cost more and i figure break easy
i need lots
when i transport fish i use up to a dozen airstones lol
so lets here some ideas
show pix if you have done this
and i dont like the hole in a hose idea
:D

hmm interesting
wonder where the bubbles come out of

and i use that many when i go netting
i fill up between 5-10 buckets when i go
each has an airstone
and i break the blue ones all the time
or they clog
but mostly they break easy around me
:D

yeah they do break pretty easy no doubt. the wooden ones produce a finer bubble, comes right out of the wood (that's why all the salty's use them in their skimmers). like i said, my petsmart has them here so you might check, would probably be worth the couple bucks for a durability test. hell if you can't get them locally let me know and i'll try them :D
