DIY Blue LED lighting?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah I have each light have it's own driver. I haven't had any problems with mine yet. Thought about buying a big driver like the one you got but I figured I would rather replace one small driver if it failed. And I wanted to run mine at full power.

i've been thinking about powering each light individually too. then use an arduino computer to program some simulated daylight effect for the lights like the sun moving across the sky. lol that's another diy write up in the making.

Alright sounds good I don't think the white ones are going to work on that dimmer. The blue ones will be dimmable for sure. I guess just am not confident that all the white ones will be able to go onto one dimmer. I'm gonna try and think of another way to dim them.

No biggie is they are not dimmable. :) My florescent lights aren't dimmable right now anyway lol. Just getting everything up and working would be great. I'm holding off putting my BGK in the tank until I can get the blue lights in since I know he's going to be skittish if it's too bright.
