Yep, I have some screen from my porch. It's 1 1/4" for the over flow and 3/4" hose - 1" piping for the return line....should not be too restricted IMO

pvc gluing the screen on the 90 or the inlet?
and i thought my 3/4" overflow could handle my pump
its a 256gph,but thats at 0 feet
im not sure how much 4.5 feet of lift kills a pump but my overflow still cant handle it

i just dont see how 1" can flow 600 when my 3/4 cant even do 256
and i think 600 for 1" might be just strait pipe

Did not think about the dual; I have read people saying 1" return line is too thick for the mag 9.5..is that true? From what I read it creates more back pressure on the pump.
