Nice build. I agree with giving the silicone a little extra cure time. I let my tank sit for a week before filling. While the silicone might feel cured on the outside, it may not be so towards the inside. I also agree with Vidar-Alexander on covering the edges of the glass. Looking forward to seeing the end result.;)

This should have bin the day, but 5,5 day is not enough since its so thick, so il wait til the middle of the week or something.. Will be sad if i wait all this time for nothing tho, heh..(thinking if it still leaks). The build has gone pretty fast anyway, so i a few days +- doesnt matter, gonna watch it for life.. I can feel that the silicone is not totally cured in the middle, as i can press it, and i feel the movement inside there.. I want it to be "hard" all over before i testfill again. hope it works out aswell :)

Thinking about another testfill, dont think i dare.. I think il just put some hamsters or rats in there :) The plumber is coming tomorrow to put up a waterheater and a sink, much easyer.. Now there is minus degrees outside, so the hose wont work(lucky silicone gets a few days extra). Will keep you guys posted!

Water installed in the room. The heater is a 3+3kwh 300liter tank, 3+3 means that it runs on only 1 of the heaters at the time, but the top is priority, wich makes it easy to do a new waterchange pretty fast after you have emptyed it.. I love this room!

Well, i did fill it yesterday, 80cm out of 95.. The window didnt leak at all, and thats all i was looking for, as the epoxy work should be pretty bullet proof, but no, it wasnt. I dont know how it could happen, but it was dripping underneath, out of notwhere there came drops in the middle of the plydwood, looked really funny..And there was also dripping in one of the plywood seams, i dont understand that either, as that seam was literally _filled_with waterproof fillet.. As talking with some guys there could be alot of condens as the water added was 7 degrees, and the room 30.. At this moment im waiting it out to see if it can be that, but i honestly think there is a leak somewhere, a minor minor one.. We could have damaged it while putting in the window, but epoxy is known to be superstrong, they use them on boats fgs..people walk on it on a daily basis..I do not understand anything at this moment, atleast the window is waterproof, and that i can digg..

when my window leaked the water somehow found its way into the plywood seems and came out at the side of the tank and not the window frame, so it may still be your window leaking.
i ended up filling the tank 6 inches at a time and waiting an hour to see if the leak started again so id know the general height and area of the leak.

either way i hope you get it sorted mate, keep us updated

Sorry to hear the bad news! Good luck on getting it fixed! If it leaked in lots of places at once it may have been condensation. That was some pretty cold water going into a hot room. (7C = 44 F & 30C = 86 F)
