I have one silver arowana thats 12". i thought about putting him in or some peacock bass in it till they get a good size and moving them to a pond in the basement. I'd like to attempt to breed pbass.

:headbang2 that 2nd tank is awesome :headbang2

cant wait to see it installed!
are you going to use powerheads to help with circulation, or will it be ok as is?

:WHOA: nice tank. i was wondering what kind of plywood you used. was it some sort of treated ply? keep us all posted on your progress. keep up the nice work.

its not treated but its grade AA ply. its birch ply w/ several layers. Im ordering the epoxy this week and i'll update w/ new pics. plus i have to start building the stand, i'll post pics of that too

well im going to install an overflow in the corner w/ two return flows going to both sides of the tank. Im going to work on it in the next few days and post pics. but ive been busy trying to close on this house-when i get into the new house, you'll see several more projects from me!:D

The epoxy goes on this weekend! I ordered it monday and should have it by Friday. I'll be posting pics of the progress as i go.

no, in fact i think it has some strength over the glass and is alot lighter. it just has to be coated well and supported evenly.
