Keep the tank between 76-80 and you'll be fine. This same tactic works for mollies, platys, and swordtails too.
I bred all of the above before, along with convict cichlids (they'll breed in a puddle, as long as the temp is around 79 or 80), angelfish, bettas, cory cats (inadvertently), and saltwater cleaner shrimp.Ianab;1297226; said:Plants are better, 1/2 fill the tank with Java moss or similar, real or artifical.
