i am sill waiting for my 400.00 bucks, over two years ago.Still think he will make good?

I think it is ridiculous that this guy is a vendor here.I also think it is ridiculous for mods to stick up for this guy???How many threads like this need to be made before someone wakes up?

According to the moderator input, threads and complaints don't matter, only marketplace feedback. Since five out of eight of MA's feedback is negative... I don't know, I'm confused about the vendor policies in place here.

I don't understand why the vendor can delete negative feed backs on MFK. It sorta makes the negative feedback option pointless. And one more thing that seems a little strange is about deletion of complaint threads. Sure mods can see there were two in this case and certain number of deleted threads may be there in other cases but why allow the vendor to delete the same and thereby conceal vital, negative information about irresponsible vendors ??

caveat emptor means let the buyer beware (or rather be aware and cautious) but allowing such deletions of complaint threads and negative feedbacks makes sure that buyer is unaware.

so is something gonna be done about this ?

The feedback score (Labeled as Marketplace Feedback (#) under the avatar) cannot be altered by either the buyer or seller. Once submitted, it stays intact. That's the feedback tool we recommend all members of transactions use.

The feedback that can be deleted by a vendor is that which is left in their feedback thread (usually a sticky). Too many people simply post threads which 1.) result in flame-fests and lose their purpose, or, 2.) are simply deleted by the vendor.

Phil is right. That's why we've said countless times to use the feedback system and don't bother with threads. It's one way the staff keeps track the records of the vendors and put them into discussion when necessary.

If the number of complaints (assuming they are true) were more than what the feedback system currently showed, why were the negative feedbacks not put in place there?

In addition to extreme unethical business, it is also animal cuelty! This is horrible, and I hope things work out for those who did business with this person.

How is 5 negative out of 8 not enough to warrant action? How much negative feedback is needed? I am genuinely curious at this point, since the amount of defense that the staff seems to be giving this vendor is kind of insulting to the ripped off members.

"Assuming they are true." Really?
