Do they hate you?

Most of my friends think I'm ****ing crazy having so many fish.
That I have, "An unhealthy obsession with fish."
What the **** do they know anyway?
 
Nope, never happened to me. I've never had a problem mixing the hobby with highschool. Plus, whoever comes to my house gets a kick from some of my stuff. I need to decide what's coming next.

People try to give me a hard time about my fish..

Until they see the tanks.. ;)

Just be so good at setting up and maintaining a tank, they won't have anything to say..

I have way too many hobbies, besides the aforementioned smoking, drinking and my fish :crazy: , I also modify and race cars, race yachts, hydroponic gardening, fishing, cycling, climbing... aggh! Way too much stuff to waste money on!! :(

HEY ! what's wrong with booze, drugs, and sex!!!!???? j/k

I get mixed reviews. Some are just in awe about the collection I have in my house and garage. But some people thinks that it is a waste of time. Can't go on long vacations, MUST feed the fish and clean tanks and change water. I don't know the fascination, but I was born in March, and my zodiac sign is Pisces, two fish going the opposite direction. Is my hobby based on that? HECK NO! I just like fishies ever since I was in grade school, kindergarten to be exact. That's when my friend and I went fishing for channa striata, and the climbing perch. :ROFL: Didn't have a tank then, but I had a Jar, filled it up with water, and some plants...voila...my first fish tank hidden under my bed.

Tanx you guys are very supportive, however I will not slap my mom and ....Centralmayhem I just got to tell you that I look at my self in the mirror everyday and believe me is not my looks that get me introble with the ladies, its my mouth and fishes of course. I have girls that like me and think is cute that I m into fishes however they hate me because I pay more attention on my cichlids than to them ( said my ex gf). I think the problem is that all I do is talk about soccer and fishes and no much of other things, that get ppl so no liking me. But they have to understand that I like my fishes and I would put my girls first only if they werent such a "witch". all my girl wants is to go shoping and spend lots of money on cloths that she doesnt neeed and I tell her, with that money she could buy me a 215 gallons. I will not grow out of this hobby, not intill I have all the spicies alive, specially the african cichlids.
I tanx God that I dont drink, smoke or addicted to having sex or blowing things up,
however he hasnt sent me the right girl so I can share my cichlid passion with.
