I always wear a seatbelt, I don't even notice when I put it on its like i just do it and I don't even think about it, and also I once saw a vid if a car crash and the guy flew out of his windscreen and under an 18 wheeler, lets just say it was a pretty gory vid :(

Always, ever have since I was a kid and long before it was made compulsory. Don't go anywhere with unbelted passengers also, especially if they're sitting behind me!

Took a little while when I started driving trains to get used to no seatbelt (and no steering wheel!), just every so often had a flash of uneasiness as though my mind was thinking I was in a car...

I dont. And i have one of those cars that beep incessantly when u dont buckle but im so use to it i drown it out. But when i drive with my husband he gets annoyed and makes me put a seat belt on just to stop the beeping.
All this even though a car accident a few years ago had a paramedic saying my seat belt saved me and the proof was in the slice on my neck where my seatbelt cut me from holding me back from smashing the windshield. And its illegal here, and illegal for anyone else to be unbuckled in ur car.
Its weird cause i look at how far and angled my windshield is and i cant imagine how on earth my head would reach it.

I don't know if there's anything more annoying then riding in one of those cars and someone still refuses to buckle up, I've even seen people go as far as buckling up the belt and then sitting down just so they don't have to hear the noise-isn't it just easier to be responsible?

Question for everyone who refuses to wear a seat belt-why not? Because you're being rebellious and won't do what someone else says you should? Because you're too cool to wear one? Because it's uncomfortable? Seriously what's the reason because it's something so simple and effortless that it should be a no brainer?

I've seen people do this. They either deal with the noise or buckle up and sit on it. Seriously...you almost deserve to get in at least a fender bender and conk your head.

Buckling up takes seconds and is free and can save your life! I don't think there is nothing in the world that could be an easier way of preventing your own death.

so why dont you? i'm trying to make sense of this nonsense....a seat belt saved your life, your loved ones request you to...and yet when alone you still refuse to? would you rather be dead right now?

let's just say it....people are idiots. Sure I could be dead right now....but I'm still not going to wear a seatbelt.

I always wear my seat belt. 8 years ago I was in a head on collision with a drunk driver in a silverado that decided he wanted my lane bad enough to total both of our trucks for it. I still have neck and back problems to this day, but I cant even imagine what would have happened to me if I hadnt had my seat belt on. I still dont think there needs to be a law about it (at least for those legally responsible for ourselves), but since I always wear one anyhow it haven't made a stink about it.
