Do you get attached to your fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I get attached to my fish, but haven't cried over a loss... I did cry over the loss of my iguana. Spent many many years with her so it was really sad when she passed.

This topic is actually why I don't let my kids name the fish.

Thats like asking if you get attached to your dog or cat imo... im attached to all my pets.. but its genetically wired for me to mother living things.. lol ive been "mom" to animals since i was 12... i can count on one hand how many animals i haven't gotten attached to that I've owned or have been apart of my life.

the only fish that have died in my house are feeders!
oh i actually had a green sunfish get killed by a pleco, i didnt mind it to much because it was a bully.

I don't cry. Period. But I do get attached to my fish, especially the fish that I have named. Recently had my large Altifron die (Rick) and I was in the pits for awhile.
