Just curious about the economic makeup of MFK.

If you do live paycheck to paycheck and given the economy, with your current savings, how long could you last without a job? Whats you savings like?

How long would you last jobless just on your savings?

No-I do not live from paycheck to paycheck.-I have no clue on how long I could survive----Pretty good if living off the land counts...

STumbled on this when MFK was down earlier this morn.

I don't live p-to-p. And, if I lost my job, I could last for quite a long time on my Navy pension.

Nice, must give you a certain peace of mind....

No savings (divorce a couple years back). But I don't completely live paycheck to paycheck. Do have some play money in there, need to get more serious about the saving. Real easy to get into an ira, and now that everything's on "sale"....

Actually, Im just waiting for my new wife's parents to kick the bucket :grinno:.

LMAO..

Not quite paycheck to paycheck. We own the house free and clear, smart move 15 years ago ;) so that makes life pretty easy.If I had a mortgage I dont think I could afford more than a betta bowl.

us, not really. after all bills are paid, we have almost $2k left over. but that doesnt mean it gets saved  i have nothing saved up lol
