Hell i havnt listened to the song but its a song, i cant believe its that bad. but that could be just me actually using my brain.
this is my number one question. how in the hell could this be considered child porn??koltsix;5054744; said:It sounds ridiculous to me. I can understand the parents being upset and that it was inappropiate and that legal prosecution should have been a result. This how ever is a complete stretch of the law for the benefit of a legal system that seems to slowly be trying to turn the U.S. into some sort of police state. I wish I knew more details about the video, like Lep said so I could have a better argument. I just can't imagine how the video could fall under the law as child pornography. From what I understand he only used explicit lyrics. What lyrics shown on a video with no real kids present can be considered child pornography? Was his sole intention to distribute this "inappropiate" video to children? Where was the crime other than the illegal use of the childrens likeness? Though I find this perversion of the law distrurbing, the most disturbing part is that some people are applauding it. They're basically applauding the slow loss of our civil rights. It's a scary state people of a slippery slope that this country is falling into. Call me paranoid, but I worry about the future of this country when I see things like this. With the "Recession" going on and all the distractions of inflation I fear that those of us who would oppose things like this are too distracted to do anything about it or even notice it at times. Then again matbe I'm paranoid.
Is the first minute of this video "child porn"? Sexually suggestive pedo lyrics with kids sitting on santa's lap. Is it ok when a famous artist does it? This artist has a much stronger panel of lawyers, I'm sure, but isn't it basically the same thing?Oscarum monstruoso;5054664; said:A question for those that think he did nothing wrong: would you be ok if footage of your child was used in a sexualized video like in this case?
You're right, the two months are insignificant... he will probably be out in a couple weeks if he behaves, but thats not the point. Once you are a registered sex offender, you are basically a leper. It stays with you for life, and it DOES ruin your life. It is somewhat unclear if that is the case with this story, but if that is the case, he is getting MUCH worse than he deserves.Bderick67;5054722; said:Hard for me to comment on this as I did not see the video containing his actions nor have I heard or read any of the the lyrics. I can only imagine that if I were to witness someone acting or speaking inappropriately towards my family in a sexual way whether it be them personally or even just and image of them, likely the cops would be arresting me for assault.
The guy got of relatively easy. Yes he looses 2 months of his life, but it is far from ruined.
