they are a nice car but for me personally I will wait until my Camaro shows up. I personally like the new Camaro better (I realize I will likely get slammed for this here but I'm fine with that)
everyone has diff tastes. i try and not discriminate unless discriminated on lol. besides if everyone drove a challenger, they wouldnt be near as cool.

Wont get slammed from me.....I agree although all these new "musclecars" are to heavy...IMO.....
with technology comes weight, everything these days has to have all the bells and whistles and be able to pass safety standards. shure they could be made alot lighter but at what costs to us as consumers? old Ma Mopar seems to be the only of big 3 that DOES actually offer a full on musclecar- http://www.automobilemag.com/features/news/0807_2009_dodge_challenger_drag_race_package/index.html just dont plan on getting it liscensed.

LOL @ "just" 5.7

That's a serious car:)
my 94 z28 is a 5.7. it's too small I'm gonna build a 6.8 for it when I have my own house. 5.7 is tiny

I'd put my 5.7 against a small block Chevy anyday lol.

Get a 427, not a 502 lol.

i feel ya. thats just another reason i enjoy the classics so much, everything is so much simpler. unfourtunately driving them daily is a huge risk with parts getting more and more rare.

You are RIGHT....Im not old at all, but all the musclecars my dad had.....we could work on them right in the driveway. Nowadays they try to make it so u have to take the car back to the dealership for simple ****. And I work on cars...LOL....I guess times change....

I work on cars. heck I have rebuilt motors with friends that they don't even sell in america (rb20det, rb26det, sr20det, sr18{you won't find much about that one it's a weird form of a sr20}) I still don't like what they do with new fords and dodges. their engines are not as interchangeable as the old cars were. my car still uses old school setup for mounting the engine and such, so I can swap a lot of things into it, but the motor I am wanting to swap is gonna require a whole new k-member to fit it in there because of what gm did with the 3/4 gen mounts.
