Dodge Challenger Hellcat....over 700 hp..are you kidding me?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Damn, and I'm guessing that that does not include installation of the supercharger.

Nope.

Not exactly sure what the difference is between the 6.2 and 6.4 or if the charger can even be bolted onto a 6.4, but I imagine you'd still be looking at a truckload of parts to get the charger to work..... Prolly a few sensors, fuel delivery (pump, lines, injectors), software, would expect harness to be different, I'm sure the list goes on.....

Needless to say it doesn't sound like clones would be very cost effective, and I'm sure it's no accident that it seems this way......

I still can't believe they're using the same concept as the supercharger of the mid 90s...... You'd think everyone would be going centrifugal by now and putting the friggin intercoolers out front where they belong.

Lol, don't forget voiding the warranty :)

You'd be surprised what you can do to SRT vehicles without loosing the warranty........ IF you use all Mopar parts chances are the warranty will still be good. Remember the SRT 4 Neons? You could bolt on stage 3 Mopar stuff and still have a warranty at around 400 horse.

I bet the drag pack cars would kill the hell kitties (drag packs rumored to be 8-9 second cars) yet those drag pack cars go very little publicity compared to the Hellcats. Maybe cause they were aimed at a different market?

My service manager got back from Vegas last week and said there was 2 Hellcats out there with manufacturer tags on them just out ripping around the strip day and night trying to drum up attention.

Its a great time to be into cars if you can afford the new ones....... I couldn't even afford a new truck. Saw a window sticker on one this week that was a few hundy away from $70K.

Which truck was that?

Which truck was that?

Just a big ol farm truck..... 6.7 2500 Limited.

Unreal what some of this stuff costs anymore. $50K Jeep Wranglers?!? Almost seems comical yet the stuff gets bought.

Ram truck with Cummins or Hemmy?A co worker recently bought a new Wrangler...Oscar Mike edition or something...I know I've never heard of it and I don't see any difference from any other Wrangler lol!

6.7 = Cummins.

Some of the Rubicons (w/ front winch) are pushing $50K. Even some of the lower models are pushing $40K. It's crazy......

It is crazy, his doesn't have any wench on the front...He recently installed a brush bar and some extra lighting.Another co worker bought a new one a year or so ago but ended up getting rid of it claiming it had too many problems. She now has some kind of Chevy truck...not sure which one exactly but it is a big truck...especially for a woman.Does that sound sexist?

No,well it doesn't sound like one at least. It could be some trim level of a Silverado,I'll ask her about it when I get a chance.
