I am still thinking about keeping dart frogs, or a Nothobranchius species. Want to try scaping a small plant terrarium I have before I make my final choice. any ideas for which to choose based on care and interest.

There are a lot of choices available. The level of care is very similar from one frog to another. One of the big factors to look at besides the colors you may prefer are whether you would like a pair or a group. Most of the Dendrobates are not tolerant of each other, so a pair is all ypu can keep. Phyllobates do well in groups. There are literally hundreds of species available and you'll have to do your research to see what would work best for you.
